My dad was an avid photographer. When I was 7 years old, he gave me my first camera, a Kodak 110 film camera which I took everywhere. When I was in high school, I got my first professional grade 35mm camera and began learning darkroom skills - by this point, I was hooked on what a camera can do.

Throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to learn from some great photographers and hone my skills as an art photographer. My mentor, Monte Nagler (a student and friend of Ansel Adams), taught me how to build drama and tell a story through my photography - I no longer took "pictures". Instead, I was creating art.

My images are a combination of recognizable to abstract, covering many different subject areas. Many are black and white, but I also generate color work. I also do some portrait work for select clientele.

While I don't consider myself a "professional" photographer (I do have other businesses that I own), I'm also not an amateur. My photography has been on display at exhibitions and I sell my images to those who desire them. If you are interested in any of my photographs, they are available on a limited edition basis. Please feel free to contact me for more information. I am also available for commissioned work for select clients.
